OLYMPIA – Port of Olympia’s free, family-friendly Summer Nights at the Port event on Saturday, June 29 will feature the sounds of Queen Mother, food vendors, and a beer garden.
The 21+ beer garden, sponsored by O Bee Credit Union and presented by Headless Mumby Brewing, will be serving up local brews with all proceeds supporting ANEW, a non-profit dedicated to improving the access and advancement of women in non-traditional career pathways such as construction and manufacturing. Food vendors include Boogie Beans Coffee Truck, Bulgogi Hustle, Flaming Pig BBQ, and Taqueria La Esquinita. The beer garden and food vendors will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Attendees will stomp, clap, sing, and shout to Queen Mother beginning at 6 p.m. Hailing from Seattle, Queen Mother harnesses the Northwest’s best talent to bring these epic songs to life, including Under Pressure, We Are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, and many more.
Admission is free and no RSVP is required. The family-friendly evening will take place next to the Swantown Marina Boat Launch Parking Lot located at the Port’s NorthPoint, 1210 Marine Dr. NE, Olympia (next to Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill).
