OLYMPIA – Port of Olympia’s free, family-friendly final Summer Nights at the Port event on Saturday, July 13 will feature the sounds of Gimme Shelter: A Rolling Stones Tribute, food vendors, and a beer garden.
The 21+ beer garden, sponsored by O Bee Credit Union and presented by Headless Mumby Brewing, will be serving up local brews, cider, and wine, with all proceeds supporting ANEW, a non-profit dedicated to improving the access and advancement of women in non-traditional career pathways such as construction and manufacturing. Food vendors include Boogie Beans Coffee Truck, Bulgogi Hustle, Olympita, and Taqueria La Esquinita. The beer garden and food vendors will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Concert attendees can look forward to an exhilarating evening filled with the timeless hits of The Rolling Stones. Fans will be transported back to the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll. Whether you’re a lifelong Stones enthusiast or discovering their music for the first time, Gimme Shelter will create a memorable night of rock history brought to life.
Admission is free and no RSVP is required. The family-friendly evening will take place next to the Swantown Marina Boat Launch Parking Lot located at the Port’s NorthPoint, 1210 Marine Dr. NE, Olympia (next to Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill). Remember to bring your own blankets and chairs for seating.
