On Friday, September 15, 2023, the Port of Olympia will host representatives
from the Port of Tacoma and the Washington Public Ports Association (WPPA)
for a brief meeting in the Port of Olympia Commission Room.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the WPPA’s 2023 Compass Award,
an award given to two lawmakers each year in recognition of
“extraordinary leadership and unparalleled vision” in their support
of the work done by Washington port districts.
The award presentation will be followed by a lunch with attendees.
No action will be taken at the event.
