Responsibilities The administration of the Port of Olympia is managed by Human Resource & Administrative Manager Jeri Sevier. The Human Resource & Administrative Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management for the administrative operations of the Port of Olympia.
Administrative The Human Resource & Administrative Manager manages the purchasing program for office supplies, office equipment and furnishings and other administrative purchasing. In addition, the administrative manager oversees the surplus program, records storage and retention and administrative functions, such as janitorial, security, mail services and office maintenance.
Human Resources The Human Resource & Administrative Manager is responsible for the human resource development and employee relations. The manager develops, updates and manages the Port policies and procedures, manages the recruitment and retention program, manages the training and wellness program, and manages the compensation and recognition program.
Information Services Information services at the Port of Olympia are contracted to an outside vendor for maintenance and support of the infrastructure. The manager oversees the entire information systems infrastructure and manages the outside consultant.
Public Records Officer The Human Resource & Administrative Manager serves at the Port's public records officer.
