Port Commissioners

Commissioner Bob Iyall was elected as Port of Olympia Commissioner, representing District 2, in November 2021. He’s a Nisqually Tribal Elder and the chief executive officer of Medicine Creek Enterprise Corporation (MCEC) where, in cooperation with the board of directors, he oversees the day-to-day management of all enterprises owned by the Nisqually Indian Tribe, including the Nisqually Red Wind Casino.  Bob has extensive executive management experience and has successfully managed Tribal enterprises to provide maximum benefit to the Tribe.

Bob has also served on corporate and nonprofit boards of directors, serving as secretary and chairperson on two separate boards. His experience has been in economic development and building a diversified portfolio of enterprises including construction, retail commerce, telecommunications and hospitality.
