Movies at the Marina
Saturday Nights, July 31, August 14 and 21, 2021 – Outdoor Movie Events
If you like FREE, family-friendly fun, you’ll love the Port of Olympia’s Movies at the Marina outdoor events. Join us Saturday nights, July 31, August 14 and 21, on the lower lot next to the Swantown Marina’s boat trailer parking lot at NorthPoint.
Each event will begin at 4 pm with a beer garden presented by our friends at Nicole’s Bar with all proceeds benefiting 4 the Love Foundation. Guests will enjoy the sounds of live musicians, and enjoy local food truck fare while they take in the beautiful backdrop of the South Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

*Beer garden and food vendors will be open from 4 pm until 30 minutes prior to movie start.
Know Before You Go
Admissions & Reservations
Admission is FREE for all ages, but only those 21 years of age and over will be allowed inside the beer garden. Reservations are not needed.
This is the second year for the Port of Olympia outdoor movie experience. We will try our best to deliver the best viewing experience.
Bring your own CHAIR and/or BLANKET and dress in layers, it gets chilly at the waterfront at night.
The movies will be held in the lower lot next to Swantown Marina’s boat trailer parking lot at NorthPoint on Marine Drive.
Food & Concessions
The beer garden and food vendors open from 4 PM until the start of the movie, with the beer garden closing 30 minutes before movie start.
Food, beverages, and concessions will be available for purchase from Bastard Pies, Batdorf and Bronson, Kona Ice, Nicole’s Bar, Olympita, Uncle Pete’s, and The Washington Center for the Performing Arts. The Port encourages movie goers to arrive early to purchase food from food truck vendors or support local restaurants offering dine in and pre-order takeout options to grab on your way to the movies.
Parking can be found in the Swantown Boat Launch Parking Lot located at NorthPoint on Marine Drive. Overflow parking will be located in the grass lot at the corner of Market Street and Marine Drive.
Public Health Modifications
This is another unique year for events. The Port of Olympia is committed to remaining nimble and will quickly make adjustments as necessary if further guidance is provided by State and County health officials as it relates to outdoor movie events. Updates to any requirements will be provided here. Thank you for your understanding.
We request that unvaccinated guests wear face coverings and maintain at least 6 feet of social distance while at the event.
