OLYMPIA — The Port of Olympia will host a town hall meeting on Thursday, November 7, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Percival Plaza – Olympics Room, 626 Columbia Street NW, Olympia, WA 98501. This event will feature Executive Director Alex Smith and Commissioners Bob Iyall, Maggie Sanders, and Sarah Tonge.
Community members are invited to learn about the proposed temporary warehouse for the marine terminal and its alignment with the Port Peninsula Integrated Master Planning. The town hall aims to foster dialogue between Port leadership and the public.
During the town hall, Alex Smith will present an overview of the project. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts.
“This town hall is an important opportunity for us to engage with the community and gather feedback on our proposed projects,” said Alex Smith. “We look forward to hearing from members of the community and discussing how we can work together to enhance our working waterfront.”
The Port of Olympia encourages all interested individuals to attend and participate in this conversation about the future of the Port and its developments.
